Time

  • TIME is an Erasmus+ project that aims to shed light on the concept of time, the one thing that dictates upon our existence, through the fields of study that fascinated humanity throughout history: from Philosophy and Arts, to Mathematics, STEM and Robotics. Participants were invited to choose their field of interest and based on that, each team had to do research and then create their own unique presentations using interactive learning tools. At the end of the project, each team’s creation will be uploaded to a website for teachers and kids alike from all over the world to use as teaching support. TIME gave our team the opportunity to show that as long robotics have a past and present, they will also have a bright future through the young generation. In comparison to the rest, Robotics is a new field, but nonetheless, it had definitely set a new timeline, a new era, a new point of view for the future

1 DeCyber

  • This was our first event that we put together for this season. This event was dedicated to our National Day and it consisted of a contest in which the teams had to create a robot in a digital format (3D), with the help of applications such as Creo, challenging the 3D departament of each team to create an unique model. We posted Instagram stories of the finished products on our team’s account, and our followers had the opportunity to vote their favorite on.

 

  • After reaching more than 680 people, out of the 6 team’s who participated, the RaskyRobotics team won the title of “The best traditional Romanian robot”. We tried to remind the FTC teams the importance of the National Day, and to bring more love in the country we live in.

Hour of code

  • During the Computer Science Education Week, the Cyber Moon team conducted an Hour of Code in an ICT class by teaching children to program in Scratch. Also during this hour, each of them had the chance to control our robot. At the end of the class, the students presented us the projects they have realised, projects through which they showed their true inclination towards the world of informatics.

 

  • The main purpose for creating this event was to introduce younger students from our school to the wonderful FTC and local STEM community, explaining the major role of computer science and robots in our daily lives.

Hour of code

  • During the Computer Science Education Week, the Cyber Moon team conducted an Hour of Code in an ICT class by teaching children to program in Scratch. Also during this hour, each of them had the chance to control our robot. At the end of the class, the students presented us the projects they have realised, projects through which they showed their true inclination towards the world of informatics.

Astro Pi

  • As part of the Mission Zero program launched by the European Space Agency, our team was able to send on the International Space Station, with the help of a Raspberry Pi program, the name of our team, the name of National College “C.D. Loga ”and the name of the contest that brings us all together, the FTC. With this occasion, our team members introduced to the students in a computer science class the advantages to be part of a STEM community, and this new challenge that we hope will motivate them to move into the fascinating field of aerospace.

 

  • At the end, we fulfilled ourselves by opening the students the path to the aeroespacial domain that they have only just discovered.
